Here's why my 9-day spring break was magnificently glorious. It afforded me ample time to do the following: blog like a fool, kick my strep throat, clean and organize (I pulled out the big guns with a filing cabinet and plastic bins for the garage.), lounge by the pool, catch up on school work, reflect on life and the future (I'm actually in my late twenties. When did that happen?), hang out with the pups, put puzzles together, read the paper, and best of all, eat breakfast (sitting down, in peace, savoring every bite). My staycation was no Maui or Cancun, but I was definitely in paradise. God is good.
