Months ago, Joe told Kyle about a show on the Food Network featuring a nearby Texas restaurant called Cattleman's Steakhouse. Ever since, Kyle has wanted to try it out. So, we waited for the perfect opportunity, Joe and Cheryl's visit to New Mexico.
The night Joe and Cheryl arrived, we kicked off their trip with a scrumptious, family-style dinner at the world-renown Cattleman's Steakhouse in Fabens, Texas. Cattleman's is uniquely situated on a working ranch and has received numerous honors, including People Magazine's distinction as "Best Steak in the Country."
While devouring our steaks and potatoes, we watched wild peacocks roaming and coyotes grazing just outside our window. As if the splendid company and flawlessly aged steaks weren't enough, the wildlife and beautiful desert scenery made for a perfectly magical evening.
