One afternoon shortly before dismissal, Joe and Cheryl stopped by my classroom with Kyle. After introducing the visitors, I had the students pack up and gather quietly on the carpet. Then, Cheryl read The Three Billy Goats Gruff. My attentive listeners really fancied "The Second Mrs. Sims," and, were of course, captivated by her.
